We have continued our learning about fractions this week. This time we have been exploring what a quarter is. A quarter has 4 pieces, and a half has 2. We can see that a half is bigger than a quarter. We have also been practising how to write a fraction. Some of us explored using playdough, and other of us explored this by making a flag, and folding it into quarters.
